We need 72 hours notice for production of repeat prescriptions. To re-order, please use the tear-off slip on the right-hand side of your prescription.
To obtain your repeat you can:- post in the box inside our entrance foyer during opening hours; or
We do not accept orders for repeat prescriptions by telephone.
Please be aware that to use our online ordering system for repeat medication you must first obtain a username and password from our reception team.
You can collect your prescription from any of the following but you MUST tell us if you wish to collect from anywhere other than the surgery reception desk. You only need to tell us once and then we can mark this on your record. Please enter details in the freetext box on the online order form, or complete a form at reception when you next call in.

If you need to take regular medication to help control your condition, Prescription Prepayment Certificates can save you money.
There are two types of PPC - 3 month duration and a 12 month certificate. The annual PPC can be purchased by direct debit. Buy online at www.nhsbsa.nhs.uk/ppc or by telephone on 0845 850 0030. They can also be bought at some pharmacies.
Extensive exemption and remission arrangements protect those likely to have difficulty in paying charges (NHS prescription and dental charges, optical and hospital travel costs). The NHS prescription charge is a flat-rate amount which successive Governments have thought it reasonable to charge those who can afford to pay for their medicines. The prescription charge is per item prescribed and not per prescription.
Prescription prepayment certificates (PPCs) offer real savings for people who need extensive medication.

If you will have to pay for four or more prescription items in three months, or more than 14 items in 12 months, you may find it cheaper to buy a PPC.

The on-site pharmacy at Theatre Royal Surgery is independent of the surgery and is owned and run by Costessey (Norwich) Limited. It's open for one hundred hours per week at the following times:
Monday to Saturday 07.00 am to 10.00 pm
Sunday 08.00 am to 6.00 pm
There is always a pharmacist on duty and he/she is able to offer advice on minor illness.
