Our Healthcare Assistant Services

Our experienced team of Health Care Assistants offer a comprehensive range of services including:-

  • phlebotomy (blood taking)
  • basic dressings
  • ear syringing
  • new patient checks
  • blood pressure monitoring
  • assisting with Baby Clinics
  • assisting with Minor Surgery Clinics

 

Phlebotomy

Urgent blood tests

We offer a limited phlebotomy service within the practice.

Patients who require urgent blood tests on the instruction of their G.P. and those who need blood tests because they are on Warfarin or specialised blood therapy monitoring will have an appropriate appointment arranged and will take priority. 

Non-Urgent blood tests

Patients who require non-urgent tests of blood requested by hospital clinics may have to choose either to wait for the next available appointment with our phlebotomist or have their blood taken at hospital in Norwich. Please ask at reception for details.

 

 

Health Visiting Team

The Health Visiting Team are based at Dereham Hospital, Northgate, East Dereham. NR19 2EX.  Direct Telephone 01362 654 906.
